  3. With all the food you have shoved in your face, I bet it all has a different meaning to you. What are some foods you look forward to eating? Probably tired of the junk food and the healthy food.

  5. I think I got excited,when you began to talk about your diet,especially different meals for pre and post workout and snacks.you lost me at snacks lol. Although self confessed boring diet,snacks are difficult to choose appropriately so I understand that…. I thoroughly enjoyed watching ur video.
    P.s- my pain control nurse told me to watch,be careful about apple cider vinegar,I was taking the same as you,but I decided to combine it with my snack choice,which was half a green cabbage parboiled,I’d throw in the raw cider and add pink Himalayan salt and black pepper. Much better for me,lol
    Randy- when you do your first challenge after all this great food,do you find the food salty? Tasteless?
    I am genuinely intruiged !

  6. Looking good Randy!!! One suggestion. Substitute regular Gatorade with Gatorade Zero! Zero sugar but all the electrolytes and other good stuff.

    Drinking apple cider vinegar in the morning.
    What is the difference between cider, and apple cider vinegar ?
    One is older.
    I think I prefer to start my day with a glass of cider LOL.

Doesn’t matter what you talk about I’m watching it lol .. but if you want something outta me lol I’d say just talk about the ups and downs .. maybe the struggle mentally the discipline you have to have .. you inspired me to get back into the gym and eat better.. just something that I could use right now.. no beer in over a week haha I was killing a 6 pack every night so that’s felt great!!   10. Weight loss is about reducing CARBS….THAT IS IT……its not rocket science….Please watch Dr Shawn Baker videos AND Dr Sally K Norton videos. You have a very HIGH OXALATE DIET>

  14. These videos are the best! All about health! Due to my age, I can't eat like you do on your challenges (which is why I watch. ☺) like your combinations! So, you use no butter or salt in cooking? Just Franks and salsa?

  15. Awesome video Randy! πŸ‘ I've lost over 30 pounds in 3 months on a keto diet plan, 3 pounds a week, with a little bit of walking exercise. Plus I'm not even hungry! I mostly cut out sugar, salt, and all the potatoes/carbs. I eat about 2000 calories per day and I feel great, happy, and fit!

  16. Have you ever researched fasting? basically a very calorie restrictive diet? From what i have read, as long as you get the necessary nutrients, you can cut weight really hard and its fine. mainly stick to heavy weight lifting to promote muscle growth.

I like it and it’s unique but I’d love you to explain it and if you have I obviously missed it… keep up the great work so you can dominate these upcoming challenges!

  18. Curiously, Mr Santel, why is it that your diet consists of canned/packaged foods? Would it not be nutritionally best to get things like fresh spinach/beans/fish? (I get that it could either be a financial thing, or dependant on availability due to location). My question stems from me being a chef and wondering on your opinion as to the nutritional benefits of fresh vs frozen vs canned, etc.

  19. Binging and purging isn't long term sustainable, and its got to be tough on a body that tries to maintain homeostasis. It's tough to hold out, if you envision what you're doing as a "diet". AthleanX says he hates the word "diet" because it basically means "temporary". The key to healthy living is a lifestyle that you enjoy. You need to work with healthy foods, experimenting with diets and recipes for years and years in order to figure out what suits your tastes, and what you enjoy eating. It's hard work, especially when you have absolutely no decent recipes and have to resort to stocking your refrigerator with vegetables that you don't know what to do with but dip them in hot sauce. There are a ton of tasty recipes that taste the same or similar to all those unhealthy meals that Randy eats on tour, but have healthy substitutes for many of the worst ingredients for a persons health.

    You'll never get to where you want to be if all you set is some temporary goal that you can't wait to finish. Look for sustainable options

  21. Fiber constipates me all the nutrition you need is in red meat and salt,that’s all I eat…I love you Randy but cringe when I hear your nutritional advice….Your body will immediately go to your highest weight ever as soon as you start back the food challenges

  23. Hi Randy. I watched all the video. I think you are still eating too much. I run 7.62miles(12kms) a day for 6 days a week and i eat a lot less than what you showed in the video.

  30. you need to be on a caloric deficit to lose some weight. eating "clean" foods alone will not help you lose weight if your not on your caloric deficit state.
