  2. Garlic butter? If you wanna stink like ten dead China men. A little olive oil a few sliced cherry tomatoes and some mint. Let the lobster soak it up and that’s all you need. Unless you wanna stink like a bus at 7am going through Korea town.

  4. Trained educated chef know never to put acid in your case lemons in foil anything . It creates a toxin and turns the liquid in your case the butter and lemon and parsley greenish and what’s disturbing is that since the parsley is in there you’d argue that the parsley was the culprit and that I’m being dramatic , when in fact I’m not . Metal and toxins steep out of the foil if you’ve ever taken chemistry . That’s why no cook ever mixes dressings or cook in aluminum Pots when something acidic is present . Don’t get upset I’m not trying to dissuade or discredit you but it’s nice to know .

    Also, have you tried apple butter bacon shrimp? My family loves it and tops it with cinnamon. Its a beautiful dish and is a tradition of ours. I can't eat it (seafood allergy), but would love to see how one would turn out for someone else. I've never seen anything like it before and thought it would be interesting to share the idea.

  11. I've tried lobster tail twice at red lobster, both times the meat was so tough I couldn't eat it. Is that not normal? I just chalked it up to not liking lobster tail

  12. There will be too much butter, but save it in the fridge. Great on EVERYTHING. Don't discard it!!

  18. I pulled this off last night for guests next to accompanying filet mignon and it came out perfect – thank you! I can say this is probably the best instructional video for grilling lobster out there as it does a great job at covering the important details. And I never even thought about making lemon-butter like this – what a great use for the side burner while the surf-n-turf is on the (gas) grill! I have grilled lobster "the opposite way" – cutting away the membrane and leaving it in the shell, which puts the flesh in direct contact with the grill, but for presentation I like this better. My only tip on not breaking the shell – while opening it up after cutting it with shears use your fingers to compress both sides of the shell together underneath it while you are using your thumbs to separate the topside of the shell.   20. Use the same season on some salmon partially wrapped in foil. Put some wood chips in there and enjoy smoked grilled salmon with the lobster tails.

  21. I've never eaten lobster before. What can you compare it to by taste? Hopefully one day I'll be able to afford it and eat it. Being on a fixed income makes it hard LOL.
