Chef DeeDee Niyomkul | How I got started in the restaurant business


I come from a family restauranteurs
Nan and Charlie they have the famous Nan Thai Fine Dining and Tamarind. I told my
parents I was never gonna follow their footsteps to be in the restaurant
industry and as I was going through it helping them out I found my passion for
the restaurants and I opened up my first restaurant in 2009 Tuk Tuk Thai
Food Loft and we’ve done very well over there and it’s a staple in the city now.
I’ve grown into my own place and my own personality so I kind of wanted to
express that in the food and the decor and the experience. DeeDee she is girl boss I mean amazing there’s not many female chef in Atlanta. I feel like I’m running
with the the big guys and I’m just I just stay true to what we do I’ve loved
all of all the restaurants that have gone to of DeeDee’s and I must say this
is my favorite
