AMERICAN KIDS TRY BRITISH FOOD FOR FIRST TIME (MUKBANG)

Is everything all right? Yes. Are you
sure? This doesn’t taste good! What does it taste like? It tastes like pickles. Hi Explorers! Morgan and Chris here, documenting this new chapter in our lives as parents in travel journalists that we
call The Adventures of Jonah and Jude. This week we decided to jump on the
bandwagon and do what all the cool kids were doing and do a mukbang and not just
any mukbang a british mukbang so we’re super excited to show you guys that and
we also are inching our way a little bit closer to full-time family travel so we
stuck around Lansing, Michigan. So besides missing my
family in England tremendously I also miss the food tremendously, not equally,
I miss the family more but the food still I miss the food too, and so w thought it would be a great idea for our boys to try some British foods mukbang style We are going to do a thing. A video of some pickles today and the pickled eggs and… a bunch of British food. Yeah British food. A mukbang. first thing is pickled eggs. mmm…now I used to have pickled egg all the time.
[Morgan] Gross! Sick! [Chris] No, when you go to a fish and chip shop you’ll get a good egg with your meal. So take one
you take one all right so these are pickled eggs. Dad loves these. One for you. yes take a good bite a big bite and tell
me about tell the camera about it you What do you think Jude? You take a bite. [Jonah] It doesn’t taste good! [Chris] What does it taste like? [Jonah] It tastes like pickle. That is super gross I don’t want to eat it! Radioactive! Radioactive!
One time I was over in England for Christmas and Chris told his mother that I loved
pickled eggs because he loves him so much so she got tons of pickled egg and
I hate pickled eggs and so he spent the entire Christmas time just nowing down on
cans and cans of pickled eggs. (I am the Eggman) So thumbs up or thumbs down boys? [Jonah] I don’t like it- I don’t like mine! fish and chips with malt vinegar. [Jonah] Do you feel bad for fish? [Morgan] and to dip [Chris] some mayonnaise. [Morgan] mayonnaise. [Jonah] I don’t like it. [Chris] You don’t like it? Why not? Tell me what you think of it? [Jonah] that was not really good! [Morgan] So good! next up we have Jammie Dodgers and they are biscuits. What’s a biscuit in England? [Jonah] I don’t know. [Chris] A cookie. [Jude] I want a cookie! [Chris] Now these are really good so take one and see if you give it a thumbs up or thumbs down thumbs? [Jonah] Does it have jam in it? [Morgan] yes, that’s why they call it a Jammie Dodger. So good! What do you think? thumbs up or thumbs down? [Morgan] Thumbs down? Thumbs down? [Chris] I eat these and I immediately have nostalgia as a kid growing up eating cookies. [Morgan] This reminds me of your parenting house and your grandparent’s house. They have a lot of biscuits and cookies. So you don’t like it? [Jonah] No. Yorkshire puddings with some Bisto Gravy. [Morgan] These look awsome by the way…made by Chris! Opps ahhh [Jonah] Yuck!I don’t like it mom! [Morgan] Will you help me cut it up? [Jonah] I didn’t like it. [Morgan] At all? I want to take a big bite! [Chris] Now normally you have these with a Sunday roasted with like stuffing and roast beef. [Morgan] Jonah is giving it a thumbs down. What are you going to do when we go to England? Just eat nothing? [Jonah] Yeah. [Morgan] thumbs up or thumbs down? I’m giving it a thumbs up! [Chris] I’m not doing too well here. [Chris] okay these are milk chocolate tea cakes
by Tunnock’s. They’re are scrumptious if I remember correctly. [Morgan] They remind me of like a Twinkie like super
unhealthy [Jonah] Twinkie! [Jude] Twinkie! [Morgan] but that fluffy. Yeah it’s like a British Twinkie. Ok, thumbs up or thumbs down? Oh our first thumbs up! You like chocolate? What do you think Jude? [Jude] It’s yucky! [Chris] It’s yucky? Is that what you just said? Do you like it? Is it yum? [Morgan] I am impartial. I think it’s ok. Ok- I give them like an A++ for
the packaging because if a Twinkie came in like this really pretty like
like wrapping like… Not just a plastic bag okay I feel like you would think it was a lot more
luxurious. [Chris] Can we not even put Twinkies and these in the same category? [Morgan] Does it taste like a
Twinkie kind of Jonah? Do you want another one? Oh my gosh! this is Ribena. Now this is like what
I had all the time as a kid it’s delicious it’s not hot Jonah [Jonah] It smells good!
[Morgan] What do you guys think? Thumbs up or thumbs down? Thumbs up? I am going to say thumbs up! [Chris] Look he’s like so excited for it! Is it good? [Jude] No!!! [Morgna] Does it bring you back? Mmmhhmmm [Chris] These are called Hobnobs It’s a biscuit not a cookie. [Jonah] It’s not good. Smell it. [Chris] I like that you are smelling things. You are like an authentic taste tester. [Morgan] thumbs up or thumbs down? [Jonah] Good. [Morgan] I am going up. we have cheese on toast with Branston Pickle. [Morgan] This is Gloucestershire cheese, right? [Chris] Double Glocester cheese. Glocester cheese. Glocester cheese. [Morgan] Where you are from right? [Chris] I am from Gloucestershire. [Chris] Take a bite an tell me how it tastes. [Jonah] The sauce is the sauce is bad but the other stuff is good Like the cheese? [Morgan] ok, try to What’s the sauce taste like? [Jonah] It’s super sour, right? You know what I mean? [Morgan] That’s a little spicy, yeah! I actually feel like if I got used to it I would like it. spotted dick -it’s exactly what you think
this is a lovely English pudding with Ambrosia, Devon custard which is THE custard in England in my opinion [Morgan] alright thumbs up or thumbs -down? Yeah, I think so too! [Chris] Spotted Dick. When we go to England are we going to be ok with eating English food? [Jonah] I am just talking to someone right now. [Chris] Who could you be possibly talking to? Yeah, bye-bye. After we survived our Mukbang we decided to inch our way a little bit closer to
full-time family travel so we decided to apply for passports. We’ve compiled three
quick tips that we wish that we would have known a little bit more about that
may help you make it a little bit more seamless especially with kids. Number one, do as much as you can online absolutely yeah
fill out all the forms online but do not sign them you do not set them until you
get there any sign in front of whoever is issuing the passports, because then you have to do
it all over and that number to make sure that you both, both the parents, bring in
a government-issued ID and I believe it’s federal because I had a driver’s
license that was a little bit older and it was not good enough so I wish I would
have brought my passport and it would have saved us a ton of time we actually might have to
have a little bit of a delay because we only yeah fingers crossed that we don’t
because Chris was the only one that had his. So that’s a really good one cuz we
had no idea about that. And then number three if you are a citizen that became a
citizen through naturalization in the United States, this is a really important
one, that Chris did not know about . You can have your paper stapled because they say you can’t staple/ deface or anything, but you can in the very corner there’s no writing very edge it
can be stapled to the other paperwork I I had a mini heart attack I thought that
he was going to pass out. It is a lot to replace and it’s just I mean it’s an
important pieces of paper too so and I know that like when you actually went
through the whole citizen process didn’t they specifically like really drive that
point home? Yeah they said do not deface this I mean we have a friend who
who had hers laminated and she had to have the whole thing replaced because it
was laminated and you can’t do that either so those are
three tips that hopefully will help you when you are applying for your passports.
Jonah, what are we’re doing today? Getting passports! Your first American passport! Take a ticket. Pull it down really hard. Got it! We can color! It’s a family affair. I already have mine ,odd-man-out. Perfect. We are in here. Woah- very official! biggest smile cute smile no tongue. Just a big smile. [Postman] Not that big of a smile it makes your eyes squeezed. [Morgan] Oh can you do big eyes? Look at the camera. Over here! (music) (music) (music) (music) (music) [Postal worker ] They will mail it back to you [Chris] Mailed back to me? It has to go? [Morgan] It has to go? You are freaking out. Is that scary for you? [Chris] Yeah it’s a lot of money. [Postal worker] yeah it’s a hassle to replace! [Morgan] I
really think you have hives right now it’s kinda making me laugh I feel like you
need an EpiPen right now or something. thank you so much for watching we
appreciate it so much if you haven’t already subscribed please do so and ring
that bell so we can take you with us on our adventures every single week and
please smash that like button and n and comment down below do you like that style I know this
is a little bit different than what we usually do but we’d love to hear if you
like this kind of thing and if you do we’ll do more of it absolutely and I
won’t know if you’ve done a mukbang yeah that’s pretty cool okay if you have what
kind of mukbang was it? Yeah awesome well thank you so much see you next week guys! Adios! [Blooper]

  8. Hey! Great channel, thanks for checking us out too! We’ve subscribed. Kids are SO cute!
We’re British here, LOVE Pickled eggs 😂
    Keep in touch!! 😊

  9. It was kind to give the kids a biscuit after the pickled egg and fish lol. My friend from London brings me over all the nice things like teas and chocolate and biscuits but she also brought us a giant haggis that has been sitting in our fridge staring at us ever since because we are frightened ot eat it. I've always wanted to try a Yorkshire pud! Do you guys watch the GBBS? The tea cakes looked delicious and this is such a fun video guys 😀 The hobnobs look kinda like stoopwaffles, nommm Congrats on the passport process for the kids! What an accomplishment and also one of Dante's levels of hell lol

  10. That's so fun! NZ has a huge British influence, but I was surprised how I didn't recognize any of those foods! Trying food from other countries is personally my favorite thing to do!! My kids, not so much! A tradition we stumbled upon by accident, we go to McDonald's in every country we visit. We try to pick unique things off the menu that they don't have in other countries.

  11. Hi friend what a beautiful family you have. Also great video trying British food. Liked and subscribed, let’s stay connected ❤️👍😊
