Nice, right? *Thirsty Korean TV* Healthy drinking! Charm PD here. This is an episode of Drink Together series! I’ve shot a couple of Drink Together series recently. Some have told me the tempo of the Drink Together videos have become too fast, and it doesn’t feel like drinking together. So I’ll slow down a bit in this video. I ordered delivery food today. I’ve prepared a full course of raw trout. A new trout restaurant opened in my neighborhood. So I’ve ordered this. The maeuntang (spicy fish soup) was
5,000 KRW(4.2 USD). This veggie set menu was 20,000 KRW(16.8 USD). And these fries were 10,000 KRW(8.4 USD). So this full course cost 35,000 KRW(29.4 USD). There were different set menus. But you have to order these to enjoy all of them. You can just order sashimi if you want. Today I’ll be drinking soju. Fresh. Let’s drink together. Have a drink. Charm! Charm! Charm~! I got up at 5 in the morning today. I had 2 hours of sleep, and just returned home. I’m exhausted! I got through the day with 2 americanos. So I’ve ordered these. Let’s see how the trout tastes. It comes with this weird medicine bag. It’s a unique concept. They send you the soy powder and perilla powder
in medicine bags like this. This seems like ground garlic. And this must be sesame oil. I think the medicine bags are a good idea. I didn’t open the medicine bags
to show to viewers who own restaurants. Oh, you want me to make perilla chojang
(vinegary chili sauce)? What about the soy powder? As far as I know,
the soy powder definitely goes in here. Not adding it would be a sin. Next, the ground garlic must go in here. And some sesame oil. The chojang definitely goes in here too. The perilla powder is for the maeuntang? Are you sure? Shouldn’t it go in here as well? I’ll try it first.
I’ll leave this out. I’ve never seen perilla powder delivered with trout. Let’s add plenty of sesame oil. Add more. Sesame oil is both healthy and tasty. Pour yourselves a drink, folks. Editor, don’t edit this part out. Pour a drink. Oh, you add the perilla powder in trout bibimbap? It must be their own recipe. I really don’t think that it’s for the soup. Adding perilla powder will alter the flavor. Trout and trout sushi.
Looks like this. 6 pieces, and 160g of trout. You must eat 3 pieces at once. I’ll try it like this. Nice, right? Charm! Charm! Charm~! It’s delicious, since I haven’t had trout in a long time! Trout is best with veggies mixed with soy powder! Delicious! This is such a nice combination! Let’s try the sushi. Trout sushi! Have you tried trout sushi? I’ve never had it before. It sort of looks like salmon sushi. With a bit of soy sauce. It’s chewy. For a detailed comparison, check out the video where I compare
salmon and trout side by side. Trout is definitely chewier than salmon. But there’s less fatty scent. It lacks fattiness. And there’s a light muddy scent. Keep that in mind. It’s tasty. It’s hard to enjoy this freshwater scent. But it’s not bad. Eating it like this is the best. With 2 pieces. It’s delicious. Until I was in my mid 30’s,
I really liked salmon. But as I get older,
I prefer more texture and a lighter flavor, rather than fattiness. It’s same for relationships. Rather than people with strong characters, quiet and sincere people
are more comfortable to be around. Likewise, rather than a strong fatty taste of salmon, I tend to prefer simple light tastes as I get older. That’s what comes to my mind. It’s very tasty with the veggies. It’s very delicious. Let’s try a garlic. Let’s drink, folks! Charm! Charm! Charm~! Delicious! Honestly, the sushi is so so. It’s not extremely tasty. If you eat just the trout with some soy sauce,
it’s very chewy. It’s about 5 times chewier than salmon. It’s not as fatty as salmon. But it tastes like a very tasty and chewy seawater fish. It’s very satisfying. It has it’s own charm. And this veggie salad is essential.
Right, folks? Veggies with soy powder. Don’t eat this by itself. Eat them together. I wanted to try these. I paid $8.4 for 10 pieces of fried trout. Let’s try it. With a bit of soy sauce. It’s good. This isn’t factory-made. They’ve made this themselves with moist bread crumbs. It has a clean taste. Maeuntang is more tasty when the water evaporates. There will be lots of fat coming out. Have you ever seen a trout’s head before? Can you see it? You have to boil the head for a long time. Let’s taste the broth. This is a good restaurant! How else can city dwellers enjoy raw trout at home? They also have a $10 single person menu
with just raw trout. You should try it, when you’re tired of regular flatfish
and rockfish sashimi. I hope they prosper. It’s hard to come across trout sushi
unless you travel to the outskirts of Seoul. They’re mostly from Chungcheong… Wait, was it Gyeongsang? The farms are in that area. This is so nice! I’ve tried the soup, the sushi, the fries, and this combination. This is 1st place. It’s the best without a doubt. The soup is 2nd. The fried are 3rd. And the sushi is last place. “You can only find farmed trout.” Lots of them are farmed. Yes, the farms are in Cheongpyeong and Yangpyeong. This is the most delicious. It’s the best! Mix the raw fish with ground garlic and soy powder. “Does trout have a unique fatty scent like salmon?
Is it less fatty?” “I’m allergic to salmon.” Trout has a cleaner taste. I’m not sure about fishy scent,
but there’s a light muddy scent. It’s not too fatty. And the fat is lighter. “Trouts are freshwater fish,
can you eat them raw?” These have been farmed. Eating wild ones raw would be very dangerous. Raw leather carp is known to be dangerous too. But wild leather carps are very rare. It’ll be fine if you eat farmed ones. Sushi. It’s such a nice anju. You can tell that this broth is rich. Check out the fat! Adding perilla powder will make it less tasty. I love this refreshing taste! The fries are light and tasty. Charm! Charm! Charm~! “My exams won’t end!” Same for me too. I’m 39, and I live each day as if it’s an exam. Everyday is an exam. Exams don’t end. Life is a long exam. Everyday is an exam. Really. So don’t be sad if you do bad on the exam. And don’t be too proud if you do well. Don’t be too stressed out on exams. Oh, it looks like my spatula will burn?

I’m sorry. Sushi. Delicious. “What’s the best sashimi?” The best sashimi is the… last episode. (dad joke) It’s the best. My favorite sashimi is raw small octopus. I think it’s the tastiest. Also flatfish and rockfish. I’ve tried red spotted grouper and seawedged perch. But farmed flatfish and rockfish are the tastiest. If I had to pick one more,
rock bream. Charm! Charm! Charm~! “Are there days when you don’t drink?” Of course! There are days when I don’t drink. “Recently, I drink alone a lot
after breaking up with my girlfriend.” “I want to drink with you tonight.” Sure! It’s good that you broke up. You two weren’t meant to be. Isn’t it nice? You can meet other girls now. Isn’t that nice?

while your wife is at the in-law’s feels like. It’s not? Try it for yourself. It’s very thrilling. You’ll get goose bumps. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t get married! It’s just… It’s just a good feeling. It’s a feeling that’s hard to come across. There are certain feelings that

It’s the best! It’s very refreshing. “Why don’t you make eye contact?” Because I’m no match. When you’re no match, don’t look her in the eye.
And don’t speak in casual form. Remember to follow these rules when you’re married. “I’ve had the same job for 3 years.” “I’m not sure if I should find a new job.
Should I?” 3 years of experience is important. But what’s most important is the plan that you made during those 3 years. If you get a new job without a plan, for instance, just because of the pay, then you’ll be looking for another new job in two years. Your salary will rise as you transfer, but your expectations will grow as well. If your salary increases by $1K,
your expectations will increase by $5K. So I don’t recommend changing jobs without a plan. You must have a plan. If you aren’t prepared,

throughout your life. Never settle down just because you have a stable job. Thirsty Korean TV is known for anju. (dad joke) If you spend all your money on anjus, it’ll be a disaster. Don’t do that. Last shot! I hope you’ll always think positive thoughts. There are people who focus on positive sides,
and people who focus on negative sides. After 10 years, they will be living

  28. 자연산 송어랑 연어는 양식보다 확실히 쫄깃합니다. 자연산 송어는 거의 뭐 우럭 급으로 쫄깃한데요… 민물 송어도 무지개와 브라운 송어가 있는데 브라운 송어는 먹기가 좀 힘들다는.. 무지개 송어도 연어처럼 바다에서 살다가 산란하러 민물로 올라오는 steelhead라고 부르는게 있는데 정말 맛있죠.
