Hi everyone, I am Masa today I would like to share with you a delicious fried rice recipe Have you ever heard of a Japanese series called Shin’ya Shokudō? Each episode would showcase dishes with a backstory The dishes may be simple. Nevertheless they are complement the story well The recipe I am sharing today is not complicated It’s a dish that uses simple ingredients and seasoning to achieve great flavor Ok, let’s get started! Ingredients are: green beans – 3 long pieces You can substitute them for other types of beans. Sliced bamboo shoots will do as well Blanch the green beans for 1 minute and cool in ice water dice into small pieces 1/8 of an onion dice into small pieces carrot 20 grams dice into small pieces chicken thigh – 1 large piece. Freezing the chicken before chopping them is much easier substituting the chicken for bacon or German style sausage can also be tasty turn the stove on to medium Add a bit of oil Add the diced chicken thigh Add salt and pepper to taste sauté until the chicken thigh changes color Add the diced onion and carrot Add around 2 tablespoons of ketchup Add Tabasco sauce to taste Sauteing the ketchup for a short while can help dissipate the sourness and make it less piquant Add 200 grams of white rice Substituting the white rice for spaghetti will turn the dish into Naporitan spaghetti – another popular Japanese style pasta inspired from western cuisine Season with salt and pepper to taste Add the diced green beans Now the delicious chicken fried rice is done.
